Moon Glow Policies & FAQs

1. Where is your nail studio located?

Moon Glow is located at 13740 Research Blvd, Unit V2, Austin, TX 78750. Enjoy free parking throughout The Lake Creek Office Park.

2. What are your business hours?

Moon Glow is open:

  • Tuesday 9:00AM-6:00PM
  • Wednesday 9:00AM-6:00PM
  • Thursday 9:00AM-6:00PM
  • Friday 9:00AM-6:00PM
  • Saturday 9:00AM-4:30PM

We’re closed on Sundays and Mondays. Also, we’re closed on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

3. What languages do you speak?

As a Kazakhstan-owned nail studio, we speak multiple languages including English, Kazakh, Russian, and Ukrainian.

4. Do you accept walk-ins or is it appointment only?

Sorry, we don’t accept walk-ins. All appointments must be made through the Square booking site.

5. What type of nail services do you offer?

We specialize in Russian manicures, dry pedicures, and paramedical pedicures. We also offer several add-ons for beautiful, chip-resistant nails—French tips, IBX strengthening treatment, cuticle work, nail repair, one-of-a-kind nail art, stamping, and removal of acrylics/SNS/dip powder.

6. What brands do you use?

Your nails deserve the best care and finish, which is why we use trusted brands like Akzentz, IBX, Luxio, GEHWOL, and KOKOIST.

7. Are there spa services included?

We are constantly working on improving our services, and hope to add more spa add-ons in the near future.

8. Are your products safe for sensitive skin or during pregnancy?

Yes, Russian manicures and dry pedicures are safe for clients during pregnancy and with diabetes. We only use odorless, high-quality products from reputable brands that have SDS (Safety Data Sheet) sheets available on their websites.

9. What forms of payment do you accept?

We’re flexible, so pay how you like. We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Square Pay. We also sell gift cards that don’t expire.

10. Is there a membership or loyalty program?

Currently, we don’t offer memberships or loyalty programs.

11. Do you require a deposit for appointments?

No, you don’t need to make a deposit to book a nail appointment. However, a valid credit card or debit card is required to book any of our services. You will only be charged after your appointment.

12. What is your cancellation, rescheduling & late policy?

Please provide at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Changes made with less than 48 hours notice will be charged 50% of the service value, and those made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full service value.

For late arrivals, there is a 15-minute grace period. After 20 minutes, the appointment is considered a cancellation and charged in full. Services may be shortened if you arrive late, but the full price still applies.

No-shows are charged 100% of the service value. Repeated last-minute cancellations or reschedules may result in being unable to book future appointments.

13. Do you offer any classes?

Yes, we offer a comprehensive 2-day Russian manincure training class for beginners. In the salon, you’ll learn about Russian e-file techniques, structured gel application, medical-grade cleaning and safety protocols, how to build your social media portfolio, and how to price your services. You’ll also get hands-on experience to practice cuticle work, hard gel application, and polishing on models.

14. Is there Wi-Fi, music, or refreshments available during the appointment?

Yes, all guests are welcome to use complimentary Wi-Fi, watch TV, and get free coffee/tea/chilled soft drinks at our studio.

15. Are children or pets allowed?

For everyone’s safety and to ensure timely service, we kindly ask that children, pets, and emotional support animals remain outside the salon suite. Thank you for understanding.
