"I'd like to say that Aiko had the patience of a saint working with me. I'd been following her online for some time, watching her craft. One thing that drew me to the dry manicure technique is the attention to detail. During our time working together I learned about the importance of sterilizing instruments, proper nail prep (great for retention), different bits and their purpose. I learned how to apply structure gel to give a streak free finish, removal of polish. When I was learning the technique, Aiko was there to guide me when I needed redirection. Taking this class gave me the knowledge and confidence to continue to grow in my art. It also taught me the importance of executing each step adequately as they build upon each other. "I have become an unofficial Russian manicure connoisseur, and I have enjoyed going around Austin trying different salons and being able to write about my experiences here. It was my first time visiting Moon Glow, mainly because they were the only salon in town with availability on the Sunday I desperately needed to get my nails done! Vitalia was my nail tech, and she greeted with my with a warm and friendly attitude. She offered me a drink, and I opted for a La Croix. Vitalia took great care of my nails from start to finish, and we even got to try out stamping on a few of my nails! The cost was also the most reasonable of all the Austin salons I've been to so far."
